Critics mostly didn't like this one; and i can see why, yet, the topic of AI and robotics, and how they will affect humans is such a vast topic, that you can't pack it into 120 minutes. Here it's about how it might help deal with grief and loss; and in the process exploring the themes of independence and, to a degree, animism.
Yeah, it could have used a second set of eyes having a look over the script, but i liked that it didn't concern itself with what a western production would have tried to cram in, action and world building.
