The Abyss (1989; Theatrical Cut)
Still makes me ol' aquaphobiac shiver in my undies. Also, i noticed Ed Harris blue hand only changing in hue throughout the movie, and Michael Biehn looked like he suffered from high pressure nervous syndrome[^hpns] from the beginning, when he stood in the background of a video call, starting manically through the screen. I can appreciate the movie now, when i first watched it—when it was released on VHS[^vhs]—, i was bummed out by the aliens being left out for the largest parts of the movie.
