Innerspace (1987)
Watching the movie with Drew McWeeny's commentary track was like a good lesson at (movie)school. Arrow put out a 4K remaster, of which i got the HD version, because this is one of those quietly awesome movies, that flourished when they were available to watch at home. Great performances all around—Dennis Quaid spends most of his screen time sitting in a pod, and it works flawlessly—, and the movies makes the most of its premise.
And of course, there are the special effects scenes of the inner space of the human body, which aren't entirely accurate, rather evoke a—not to gros—idea of how it looks, and made me ask my parents to get me a book on the human anatomy.
